Donald Walther, ’94, Named Chief Legal Officer of Comtech

New Comtech CLO Has 20 Years As Tech Cos. Counsel

Global technology company Comtech has hired as its new chief legal officer an attorney with extensive experience at technology and aerospace companies, including Boeing, as well as for Perkins Coie LLP.

As Comtech's new chief legal officer, Donald Walther will oversee the company's "corporate legal strategy, trade compliance, export control, security, contracts, and global leadership growth trajectories," Comtech said Wednesday.

Most recently, Walther spent a year as chief legal officer and corporate secretary at Robotic Research, a Maryland autonomous driving technology business, according to his LinkedIn profile.

"As Comtech continues to scale globally, we are expanding our leadership bench with some of the best and brightest in the industry to create more comprehensive value for our customers and make a lasting, positive impact in the world," Comtech President and CEO Ken Peterman said in a statement.
