Ex-Assistant US Atty Rejoins Podhurst Orseck In Miami

Miami-based litigation boutique Podhurst Orseck LLC is expanding its team, bringing in a former assistant U.S. attorney who previously worked as an associate with the firm.

Dayron Silverio has returned to Podhurst Orseck as senior counsel working on class actions and complex litigation, the firm announced Monday. He previously worked there for two years, 2017-2019, handling product liability, wrongful death and personal injury.

Silverio left in 2019 to join the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida. As an assistant U.S. attorney, he investigated and prosecuted murder and murder-for-hire cases, racketeering cases, international kidnapping, sex trafficking, child exploitation offenses, narcotics trafficking, fraud, money laundering and more.

"For the past four years, I've had the honor of seeking justice on behalf of the most vulnerable members of our society — victims of violent crimes and sex trafficking, and exploited children," Silverio said in a statement.  "At Podhurst Orseck, I rejoin a firm deeply committed to serving victims, to redressing wrongs, and to fighting injustices. I am honored to work once again with such wonderful and capable people, and for such a storied firm."
