David Christy '90 Joins Thompson Hine as Partner in International Trade & Customs Group

David Christy '90 has joined Thompson Hine LLP as a partner in the International Trade & Customs practice group. Christy was formerly of counsel with DLA Piper LLP.

Christy represents clients in international arbitrations and trade disputes and advises on trade policy issues. He has deep experience with WTO disputes and negotiations, including accession negotiations. He advises companies, industries and governments on the full range of U.S. trade policy issues and on antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings and safeguard investigations.

Christy received his J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School and his B.A. from the University of Kansas. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and in New York, as well as before the Court of International Trade, the District Court for the Southern District of New York, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Since 1998, he has served as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center.
