Chaudoin and Mandel said they have worked together for about a decade. Both were with WilmerHale before they joined Kirkland around the same time a few years ago.

Chaudoin had been at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as assistant director of the Enforcement Division.

They represent financial institutions, public companies and executives in investigations by the SEC, the U.S. Department of Justice, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.

The firm said they are also experienced in internal investigations, and advise clients on interactions with the Federal Reserve Board and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
