Greenberg Traurig LLP has grown its Atlanta office with the former vice president and head of international legal for financial technology company InComm Payments, strengthening its corporate practice.

C. Logan Anderson has joined the firm as of counsel, the firm announced Monday. He is part of multiple groups at the firm — energy project finance and development, Latin America and retail.

Anderson's experience is international as the privately held InComm Payments had operations in more than 30 countries, according to the firm. InComm, which was founded in 1992 in Atlanta, offers payment technology for retailers, brands and consumers, according to its website.

Anderson said in a statement that while he was in-house, he experienced how the firm counseled clients.

"During my time as [an] in-house attorney, I saw first-hand the benefit Greenberg Traurig's global platform provides in delivering exceptional legal services to clients," Anderson said. "As a client, I was impressed by the firm's breadth and reach of substantive experience, as well as its unwavering commitment to excellence. These are some of the many reasons I decided to join the firm, and I look forward to collaborating with my new colleagues across the globe to serve our clients."
