Andrew G. Humphrey '86 Elected Chair of Faegre & Benson's Management Committee

Faegre & Benson LLP announced that Andrew G. Humphrey (partner, Minneapolis) became chair of the firm's nine-member management committee on March 1.First elected to the committee in 2005, Humphrey succeeds Thomas G. Morgan (partner, Minneapolis), who has served as chair since March 2004.

With more than 20 years experience as a corporate lawyer, Humphrey focuses his practice primarily in the areas of general corporate counseling, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financing and securities regulation. He is recognized as a leading lawyer in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business and The Best Lawyers in America, as well as other publications.

Humphrey earned his undergraduate degree from Amherst College and his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was an editor of the Law Review. Prior to becoming chair of the committee, Humphrey served as the firm's diversity partner as well as liaison to the firm's London office.
