Alan C. Turner LLM '00 Elected to Partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP announced yesterday that it has elected Alan C. Turner as a member of the Firm effective January 1, 2010.

Turner is a member of the Firm's litigation department. His practice involves a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters, including securities, insurance, reinsurance and antitrust litigations, and commercial contract disputes. He received his LL.M from the University of Chicago Law School in 2000 and his LL.B from The University of Auckland in 1996. Mr. Turner joined Simpson Thacher in 2000.
