Join us for the Interdisciplinary Series on Race, Ethnicity, and Inequality – Perspectives from Across the Midway with Eman Abdelhadi, Assistant Professor in Comparative Human Development at the University of Chicago. Boxed lunches will be available to registered participants at the conclusion of the event.

The University of Chicago Law School presents the Interdisciplinary Series on Race, Ethnicity, and Inequality: Perspectives from Across the Midway. This event series draws on the rich intellectual life of the broader university to bring law students a sense of how questions of race, ethnicity, and inequality are understood and evaluated using other disciplinary tools. In each event, a different scholar will present their work in conversation with a member of the Law School faculty.

This program is made possible by the generous support of Frank Cook, ‘67.

This convening is open to all invitees who are compliant with UChicago vaccination requirements and, because of ongoing health risks, particularly to the unvaccinated, participants are expected to adopt the risk mitigation measures (masking and social distancing, etc.) appropriate to their vaccination status as advised by public health officials or to their individual vulnerabilities as advised by a medical professional. Public convening may not be safe for all and carries a risk for contracting COVID-19, particularly for those unvaccinated. Participants will not know the vaccination status of others and should follow appropriate risk mitigation measures.
