Kyle E. Hawkins recently completed his tenure as the Solicitor General of Texas. Mr. Hawkins previously practiced law in the Washington, D.C., and Dallas offices of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. He served as a law clerk to the Hon. Samuel A. Alito, Jr., of the United States Supreme Court, and the Hon. Edith H. Jones, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Mr. Hawkins graduated summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School and magna cum laude from Harvard College.
