Join us for a Wellness Wednesday event this week -  climb up 271 steps to hear Rockefeller Chapel's famed carillon. Space is limited, please sign-up to secure your spot!

Meet at 4:10 PM in the North Green Lounge if you would like to walk to the Rockefeller Chapel together. Make sure to bring your UChicago student ID. We will leave at 4:15 PM to walk over, to meet in Rockefeller Chapel by 4:30 PM to start the tour. 

Tour description: 

A carillon tower tour requires about 60 min and involves visiting the tower's mechanical room, seeing the bells (100 tons of bronze!) up close, a demonstration of how the carillon is played, and the 360-degree view from the roof. The 271-step spiral staircase is taken at a leisurely pace and is not recommended for anyone who may be afraid of heights or claustrophobic. Anyone who does not wish to ascend the tower can remain on the lower level to watch the playing demonstration via live video and audio feed.
