    Art As Wellness

Art as Wellness programs are meant to help students promote wellness through creative art-making. Research shows that creative activities are beneficial for both wellbeing and academic achievements and can relieve stress, aid in communication, and improve memory and focus.

Please join UChicago Student Wellness’ Art as Wellness program during Law School Wellness Week! Here, you can make art for stress relief and learn more about Student Wellness programs. You will also have the opportunity to express your emotions through drawing, collage materials, and clay, through ripping, squishing, gluing, and meaning-making.

This is a non-judgmental and non-competitive space where you'll have the freedom to choose the materials you want to work with and have the option to stay as long as you like.

Sketchbooks, crayons, clay, markers, multicultural oil pastels, acrylic paints, origami paper, and other art materials will be provided. The Art as Wellness Program will be available through 11 a.m.

If you would like to learn more about the Art Therapy Open Studio at UChicago Student Wellness, please visit our website

    Smoothie Bar

    • Avo-Matcha (vegan, dairy free): Matcha green tea, avocado, vanilla whey protein and almond milk

A visitor’s decision to be present on campus and/or in University facilities serves as their acknowledgment and acceptance of the potential risks posed to them by COVID-19.
