Josh Hammer is opinion editor of Newsweek, of counsel at First Liberty Institute, a podcast contributor with BlazeTV, and a syndicated columnist through Creators. He has been published in many leading outlets, including the Los Angeles Times, the New York Post, and National Review, on political, legal, and cultural issues. Mr. Hammer previously worked at Kirkland and Ellis and served as a John Marshall Fellow with the Claremont Institute and a law clerk for Sen. Mike Lee. Mr. Hammer holds a BA from Duke University in economics and a JD from the University of Chicago Law School. He clerked for Judge James C. Ho of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
