Cliff Nellis of Lawndale Christian Legal Center will come to speak about his experience working with youth involved in the criminal justice system. He will share about his work providing holistic legal services and job training mentorship. He will also discuss the role that faith-based organizations play in providing stability and guidance in the community.

Cliff Nellis is the Founder and Executive Director of Lawndale Christian Legal Center. Based out of Lawndale Christian Community Church, LCLC provides holistic legal services to youth in the North Lawndale neighborhood involved in the criminal justice system. LCLC provides full legal representation, case management, one-on-one mentoring, and job skills training. Cliff received his undergrad degree from Illinois Wesleyan University, his JD from The University of Chicago Law School, and his M.Div. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
