Representing Victims of Gender-Based Violence

The Clinical Law Program and the Domestic Violence Project are pleased to welcome Audrey Gilliam '12 (2014 Skadden Fellow) and Clinical Lecturer Neha Lall (Legal Assistance Foundation) for a discussion on the challenges of representing victims of gender-based violence. 

Audrey Gilliam is a 2012 graduate of the law school and a 2014 Skadden Fellow at the National Immigrant Justice Center. Ms. Gilliam's work focuses on securing legal protection for victims of human trafficking and training law enforcement and social service providers to identify and properly refer victims. 

Clinical Lecturer Neha Lall is a Staff Attorney in the Legal Assistance Foundation's Housing Practice Group, where she represents low-income tenants in a full range of housing matters and maintains a special focus on issues related to violence against women. She directs the Law School's Gendered Violence and the Law Clinic.
