Ryan Anderson graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from Princeton University. He then went on to get his doctoral degree in political philosophy from the University of Notre Dame. Mr. Anderson founded, and edits, the online journal Public Discourse. Currently, Mr. Anderson is the William E. Simon senior research fellow in American principals and public policy at The Heritage Foundation. In this position, he has researched and written numerous articles about marriage and religious liberty. Additionally, Mr. Anderson is the author of Truth Overruled: The Future of Marriage and Religious Freedom and What Is Marriage? Man and Woman: A Defense.  

 

Mary Anne Case graduated magna cum laude from Yale College and received her JD from Harvard Law School. She studied at the University of Munich and practiced law prior to becoming a professor. Currently, Professor Case is the Arnold I. Shure Professor of Law at the University of Chicago Law School. Professor Case has researched and published extensively on constitutional law and on the regulation of sex, gender, sexuality, religion, and the family in the U.S. and in other legal systems. She has taught classes on many subjects, including feminist jurisprudence, marriage, constitutional law, and religious freedom.
