Join Larry Krasner, the Philadelphia District Attorney, and Bob Listenbee for a discussion of issues surrounding the progressive prosecution movement. Before being elected in November 2017, Mr. Krasner worked as a federal defender in Philadelphia, then worked in private practice as a criminal defense and civil rights lawyer in the city. As a civil rights attorney, Mr. Krasner frequently represented protesters, including members of the Black Lives Matter and Occupy Philadelphia movements. DA Krasner  will speak about the work of his office at the forefront of "progressive prosecution" and about the potential for enacting systemic criminal justice reform as prosecutors. [Note: a morning session of student interviewing will precede this presentation]
