Linda R. Friedlieb is a Senior Counsel, IP Litigation at AbbVie in North Chicago, IL. In her role at AbbVie, Ms. Friedlieb has worked on U.S. and international pharmaceutical patent litigation as well as licensing issues.  Ms. Friedlieb graduated with high honors from The Law School at the University of Chicago in 2005 and was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 2005.  Ms. Friedlieb previously was an associate at Sidley Austin LLP and served as a law clerk to the Hon. Diane P. Wood.

Ms. Friedlieb will present on what it is like to work in the life sciences field as an attorney.  Ms. Friedlieb will discuss how law students can shape their career track to get into the life sciences field, as well as the type of work attorneys perform in the AbbVie legal department and throughout the development of a new product.  There will be a Q&A following the presentation.
