Elements of Lawyering: Editing Your Work with Julie Schrager
Room II
1111 East 60th Street, Chicago, Illinois 60637
Many college students write papers and turn in their first drafts. That process does not work in law school! In this session, you will learn how to review your work so that your final paper demonstrates that you are smart, thoughtful, precise, and careful. Julie Schrager is a Law School alum and Legal Writing Coach for Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath. She works closely with summer associates and new lawyers to improve their legal writing skills.
This session will be particularly helpful for 1Ls preparing for the Bigelow memo, but we welcome all students interested in polishing their writing. Contact the Office of the Dean of Students at deanofstudents@law.uchicago.edu with any questions. Boxed lunches will be available for registered participants at the conclusion of the event.
Organized as part of the Elements of Lawyering series.
