Join the Federalist Society as we welcome Solicitor General Jeffrey Wall (JD '03) and Judge Julius Ness ("Jay") Richardson (JD '03) for a conversation about their paths from Chicago to the upper echelons of the legal world and everything in between. Attendees are sure to gain valuable professional and legal insight as our two guests discuss their experiences in the legal profession.

Jeff Wall is the Acting Solicitor General of the United States. He has been the Principal Deputy Solicitor General since March 2017. He was a law clerk for Justice Clarence Thomas and for Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson III of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Jay Richardson is a United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of South Carolina from 2009 to 2018. He was a law clerk for Chief Justice William Rehnquist and for Judge Richard Posner of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
