Bekhzod Khoshimov is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Wisconsin Institute of Discovery at UW-Madison. He will be joining the Social Science Division at NYU Abu Dhabi as a faculty member in the fall of 2024. His research centers on the determinants of early-stage entrepreneurial success and the factors that influence the supply of entrepreneurs in society.
In addition to his primary research focus on entrepreneurship, he founded one of Uzbekistan's most popular economics blogs and contributes as a columnist for Gazeta.uz. He co-hosts "Uzbekonomics," a widely recognized Uzbek-language podcast, as well as Hoshimov Iqtisodiyoti, a podcast where he discusses economic development in Central Asia and related topics with prominent scholars and policymakers.
