Anand Grover is one of India's leading human rights litigators. For over four decades, Mr. Grover has argued and won major cases in the Indian Supreme Court and High Courts advancing LGBTQ rights, access to life-saving medicines, the rights of people living with HIV, and many others. Trained as a biochemist, Mr. Grover is a pioneer in using science to advance health rights in India and worldwide as the former United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Health (2008-14). In his talk, Mr. Grover will discuss the current international crises in health care and the Pandemic Agreement adopted by the 78th World Health Assembly in May 2025.
