Please join a conversation with Representative Jan Schakowsky (IL-09), a co-sponsor of the Equal Access to Abortion Coverage in Health Insurance (EACH) Act .

The EACH Act would repeal the discriminatory Hyde Amendment, which disproportionately affects low-income women and women of color. The EACH Act would ensure that all women, regardless of income, insurance or zip code, can make personal reproductive health care decisions without interference from politicians.

Jan Schakowsky was elected to represent Illinois' 9th Congressional District in 1998, after serving for eight years in the Illinois State Assembly. She is in her twelfth term. Rep. Schakowsky is the former co-chair of the Congressional Caucus for Women's Issues. She is a leading member of the Pro-Choice Caucus and a vocal supporter of the #BeBoldEndHyde movement.
