CLF Auction
North Green Lounge
1111 East 60th Street, Chicago, Illinois 60637
The Chicago Law Foundation (CLF), a student-led non-profit that provides grants to law students working in the public interest, is proud to host the CLF Public Interest Auction, our largest fundraising event. This year’s Silver Soiree 25th Anniversary Auction is scheduled to take place at the Law School on Thursday, April 14, 2022.
Thanks to generous donations from the Law School faculty, alumni, partner law firms, and local Chicago businesses, members of the Law School community will be able to bid on a wide selection of goods and experiences. Last year, CLF raised over $54,000 to support our fellow students and graduates. In light of the challenges of the past year, we need your help now more than ever to ensure the continued support of our public interest community!
The Silent Auction begins at 5:30pm and will be held in a hybrid format, with items on display in the Green Lounge and bidding taking place on our Auction website—attendees may bid on Silent Auction items at the Auction or remotely. The Live Auction will begin in-person at 7:00pm. Note that Live Auction items will not be biddable remotely. Food and beverages will be provided!
CLF is proud to release our Auction website here. We will continue updating the website as the final few items are confirmed (have an idea for an item/event/favor/etc. you’d like to donate? It is STILL not too late to fill out our CLF donation form), so keep checking back!
The dress code for the Auction is casual, but feel free to dress up if you’d like.
Please reach out to Emily King at epk@uchicago.edu with any questions, comments, or concerns about this year's Auction. If you have any questions about donating, please reach out to Rose James at krjames@uchicago.edu. In-kind donations are always welcome!
We hope the Auction's return to an in-person format will bring together Law School students, administration, faculty, alumni, and the larger legal and business communities for a night of fun and fundraising for our public interest students. We can't wait to see you there!

This convening is open to all invitees who are compliant with UChicago vaccination requirements and, because of ongoing health risks, particularly to the unvaccinated, participants are expected to adopt the risk mitigation measures (masking and social distancing, etc.) appropriate to their vaccination status as advised by public health officials or to their individual vulnerabilities as advised by a medical professional. Public convening may not be safe for all and carries a risk for contracting COVID-19, particularly for those unvaccinated. Participants will not know the vaccination status of others and should follow appropriate risk mitigation measures.
This is a mask-optional convening. We strongly encourage unvaccinated individuals and those preferring to wear masks to do so.
