Larry Krasner is the District Attorney of Philadelphia, PA. Before being elected in November 2017, Mr. Krasner worked as a federal defender in Philadelphia, then worked in private practice as a criminal defense and civil rights lawyer in the city. As a civil rights attorney, Mr. Krasner frequently represented protestors, including members of the Black Lives Matter and Occupy Philadelphia movements. DA Krasner will speak about his work at the forefront of "progressive prosecution" and about the potential for enacting systemic criminal justice reform as a district attorney.
