The Blueberry Soup Outreach Tour is a year long nationwidescreening and discussion series based around the themes ofcommunity participation found in the people’s movement in Icelandthat lead to the rewriting of the nation’s constitution. The keyargument being the value of social media and person to person communications within participatory government, using the film Blueberry Soup as a catalyst. Each event will begin with a free publicscreening of the documentary, followed by a Q+A forum where we will discuss the points of the film and how they relate to localinitiatives and engaging the community. The intention of these eventsis to give examples to individuals looking to collaborate with theirneighbors in developing local solutions to problems within the society.
