Please join representatives of the U.S. Department of Justice, Tax Division, on March 5, 12:15pm, CDT, for a discussion of the DOJ Honors Program, the DOJ Summer Law Intern Program, and life in the Tax Division. We will discuss:

  • The presenters’ paths to DOJ, working in the public sector, and tips for staying connected as a public interest attorney
  • Presenting a strong Honors Program application (usually due in early September)
  • Why 1Ls and 2Ls should apply to the SLIP (applications due at the same time as for the Honors Program)—and why being a SLIP can provide an inside track on a job at DOJ
  • Why the Tax Division is a great place for any litigator to start a career

The presentation will take place on DOJ’s virtual Webex platform. See below for the link to the meeting. Please try to log in 5 minutes ahead of the scheduled start time.

We are looking forward to meeting with you!
