Kermit Roosevelt is Professor of Law at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.  He works in a diverse range of fields, focusing on constitutional law and the conflict of laws.  Professor Roosevelt received his J.D. from Yale Law School and his A.B. from Harvard University.  He will speak about the Supreme Court’s decision in Shelby County v. Holder, which held that Section 4 of the Voting Rights Act is unconstitutional.
