A conversation with Jobi Cates, of Restore Justice. Restore Justice, founded in 2014, is a non-profit advocacy organization fighting for criminal justice reform in Illinois. They work both in Springfield, and locally to build grassroots change. Jobi Cates serves as the Executive Director of Restore Justice. She has been fighting to end mass incarceration and strengthen communities affected by the criminal justice system for over 25 years. Her most recent effort, lobbying to end the felony-murder rule, will be the focus of the lunch talk.
