Law and Society

Chicago Law & Society is an organization comprised of motivated students who wish to discuss liberal/progressive policies and legal theories. We work to explore theoretical approaches beyond the "Chicago" school of thought. Chicago Law & Society also works to enrich the Law School community by creating opportunities for students to interact with faculty and learn more about the school. The organization hosts speakers on various topics; sponsors the popular "faculty brown bag lunch" series; meets to discuss academic articles; and invites students with particular areas of expertise or research to make presentations to the group. Meetings or discussion groups occur weekly throughout the school year.
