Food and Drug Law Society
The Food and Drug Law Society (FDLS) is a group of students committed to encouraging thoughtful discussion and awareness of the laws, regulations, and policies surrounding food, pharmaceuticals, and health care. Programming highlights from last year include a lunch talk with the senior counsel of Potbelly’s on working in house in the food industry as well as discussions on GMO foods and the politics behind obesity. We have also worked with the IJ Clinic on Entrepreneurship and their food truck advocacy project. If you are passionate about or interested in the issues surrounding food and drug law, we hope to see you at some of our events this year!
