Christian Legal Society
The Christian Law Students (CLS) group seeks to integrate the truths of Christianity with the study and practice of law. The group, comprised of students from a wide range of denominational backgrounds, meets on a weekly basis over lunch. The meetings vary in format and substance, ranging from a student-led Bible study to discussions led by guest speakers on topics such as providing legal aid, exercising faith in the workplace, or assessing current religious liberty cases.
CLS also organizes a number of social events and service projects throughout the year, including events with CLS chapters at other Chicago-area law schools.
