Cathy Doyle graduated from the Law School in 2005 and received her A.B. in English and Political Science from Guilford College. She began her legal career as a litigation associate in the Chicago offices of Foley & Lardner and then Mayer Brown. She later left practice at law firms and worked in eDiscovery review management, including as an analyst at Huron Consulting Group. In 2016, she accepted an OnRamp Fellowship at Jenner & Block. She remained at Jenner until 2023, first as an associate and then as department counsel. Her experience spanned a variety of litigation matters and internal investigations, with a focus on insurance coverage disputes and counseling. Also, while a student at the Law School, she worked as a research assistant for Professor Bernard E. Harcourt and spent her first summer at the Office of the Illinois Attorney General. Throughout her career, she maintained a commitment to mentorship and training. As a member of the Career Services team, she is passionate about assisting current law students and alumni as they navigate their careers.
