A Matter of Degrees

The first law degrees were conferred by the University of Chicago in Spring 1903.  Since then (through Summer 2010) there have been 13,562 law degrees conferred of all types (LL.B., LL.M., M.Comp.L., J.D., J.S.D., and D.Comp.L.).  The Law School currently has just over 10,000 living alumni, showing both that our alumni are long-lived (thank goodness!), and that classes have gotten considerably larger since our earliest ones.
