Ken Dam at Shadow Financial Regulatory Committee

12/5

Open to the public

The Shadow Financial Regulatory Committee (SFRC) is a group of publicly recognized independent experts on the financial services industry—including banking, insurance and securities—who meet regularly to study and critique regulatory policies affecting this sector of the economy. In two closed morning sessions, committee members will discuss the latest financial regulation issues related to the continuing European crisis, Basel III, qualified residential mortgage and consumer lending, the Financial Stability Oversight Committee and Dodd-Frank Act, and the Securities and Exchange Commission. At a luncheon briefing following these sessions, SFRC members will issue several statements and answer questions related to the topics discussed.
