Barry Fields

Barry E. Fields is a partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis. He has been with the firm since 1992. Before joining Kirkland & Ellis, Mr. Fields clerked for the Honorable Boyce F. Martin, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Mr. Fields graduated from Bellarmine College, summa cum laude, in 1988 with a B.A. degree in chemistry. He received his J.D. degree from the University of Chicago in 1991.

Mr. Fields has extensive litigation experience in a wide range of matters. His practice areas have included products liability, professional malpractice, securities fraud, commercial, and civil rights litigation. He has handled cases in numerous jurisdictions throughout the United States.
