On Campus Visits: Autumn Quarter

On-Campus Visit Program - JD Program: 

The University of Chicago Law School is thrilled to welcome prospective students back to our campus to experience life as a law student. Our on-campus program will give you an opportunity to learn about the Law School from our admissions team, tour the campus with a current law student and sit in on a first-year law school class. Dates: 

We will be open for campus visits on:

• Monday, October 10, 12:15 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Monday, October 31, 12:15 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Friday, November 4, 9:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
• Friday, November 11, 9:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

Registration 

Registration is required to attend a campus visit. Please visit the date links above to register. 

If you have not registered, we cannot allow you into the building. Campus visits will be limited in size, therefore we ask that you only register for one date. Please keep us posted should your plans change.

Timing/Late Arrivals:

Please plan to arrive promptly for the visit as outlined below. We will try but cannot guarantee that we can accommodate late arrivals. 

Cancellation: 

If you need to cancel your visit registration, please email admissions@law.uchicago.edu promptly.

Guests: 

Given our capacity restrictions, guests are not allowed for our on-campus visits. If you are coming with a guest, we encourage your guest to explore campus during the visit or to grab a snack (we love Plein Air Cafe). 

Self-Guided Tours and Classroom Visits: 

Our campus will only be open to visitors on these appointed dates/times. Please visit the UChicago Law Welcome Center to sign up for a virtual webinar or to take a virtual tour of our campus. 

Prospective LLM and JSD Applicants:

Please send a message to the Office of Graduate Programs at lawgrad@uchicago.edu to make arrangements to visit the Law School.

Health Notice: 

This convening is open to all invitees who are compliant with UChicago vaccination requirements and, because of ongoing health risks, particularly to the unvaccinated, participants are expected to adopt the risk mitigation measures (masking and social distancing, etc.) appropriate to their vaccination status as advised by public health officials or to their individual vulnerabilities as advised by a medical professional. Public convening may not be safe for all and carries a risk for contracting COVID-19, particularly for those unvaccinated. Participants will not know the vaccination status of others and should follow appropriate risk mitigation measures.
