William "Bill" Allan Evanoff
William "Bill" Allan Evanoff, age 52, was born on August 6, 1974, and passed away on August 22, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and warmth that will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.
Born and raised in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Bill earned his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University before attending the University of Chicago Law School. Throughout his legal career at Sidley Austin LLP, Bill was known for his sharp mind and strong work ethic, always serving as a trusted mentor and friend to his colleagues.
On October 6, 2001, Bill married the love of his life, Viviane, and together they built a beautiful life in Chicago centered on family and love. He will be remembered most for his quick wit, his ability to bring laughter to any room, and his trademark mischievous smile. He possessed a rare gift for connecting effortlessly with people, always making sure those around him were left a little happier and in on the joke.
