Jack J. Herman, born March 10, 1926 in Gary, Indiana. Married for 68 years to the late Bluma (née Bornstein), father of William Herman (Emily Lifton), Daniel “Tommy” Herman (Jennifer Moran), and Dr. Betsy Herman. Grandfather of six and great-grandfather of four. Combat infantryman during the Battle of the Bulge and invasion of Germany in 1944-1945.
