Andrew C. Finch '97 Promoted to Partner at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP

Andrew C. Finch will become a partner in the litigation department, where his practice focuses on antitrust matters, including civil and criminal government investigations, private litigation and appellate matters.  He also counsels clients on antitrust issues in connection with mergers and acquisitions.  From November 2003 until August 2005, Mr. Finch served as counsel to the assistant attorney general of the Antitrust Division at the U.S. Department of Justice. 

He received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, where he graduated with high honors and was an editor of The University of Chicago Law Review, his M.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley with high honors.  Mr. Finch clerked for the Honorable Dennis G. Jacobs, U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit.
