Margaret A. Schilt

Associate Law Librarian for User Services and Lecturer in Law

Margaret Schilt is the Associate Law Librarian for User Services at the D’Angelo Law Library. She has been with the Library since 2000. She attended the University of Michigan and the University of Michigan Law School, and then practiced law in Ann Arbor, Michigan for 9 years. Ms. Schilt has a master’s degree in history from Northwestern University and a Masters of Library and Information Science degree from Dominican University.

Ms. Schilt is an active member of the American Association of Law Libraries and the Chicago Association of Law Libraries. She has authored several articles on faculty services and law librarianship and has taught legal research at the Dominican University Graduate School of Library and Information Science. She co-teaches Writing and Research in the United States Legal System.
