Please join us via Zoom for a lunch talk with Justice Thomas Balmer (Oregon Supreme Court), Judge James Ho (5th Cir.), and Judge Ann Marie Donnelly (E.D.N.Y.). In a discussion moderated by Professor Jonathan Masur, these judges will talk about various aspects of their career and work on the bench, including the types of cases and challenges they faced. In addition, audience members will obtain key insights into what judges look for in an oral and written advocate; what they look for in a clerk; and how courts have coped with the COVID pandemic. Following this lunch talk, our distinguished speakers will serve as Justices of the Hinton Moot Court Finals.

The first 45 participants to register will be reimbursed $15 dollars for lunch by the Federalist Society and the American Constitution Society. Per Dean of Students, food must be purchased for take-out, pick-up, or delivery using a credit or debit card. A Box folder will be created for participants to upload their receipts following the event. Attendance is necessary to qualify for reimbursement.
