Law and Politics Workshop
The Law and Politics Workshop examines problems arising at the intersection of law and politics. Workshop sessions are devoted to the presentation and discussion of papers by members of the faculty of the University of Chicago and of other institutions. The substance and methodological orientation of the papers are diverse, but include the analysis of legislative process, electoral structures, and constitutional constraints on political institutions, using a blend of doctrinal, empirical, and formal methods. Faculty participants hail from throughout the university including public policy, law, political science, economics, and the business school.
The Workshop has been consolidated for the 2009-10 academic year into the Public Law and Legal Theory Workshop.
