David A. Weisbach

David Weisbach received his BS in mathematics from the University of Michigan in 1985; a Certificate for Advanced Studies in Mathematics from Wolfson College, Cambridge, in 1986; and a JD from Harvard Law School in 1989. After graduating from law school, Mr. Weisbach clerked for Judge Joel M. Flaum of the U.S.

Julie Roin

Seymour Logan Professor of Law

Julie Roin recieved her BA from Harvard-Radcliffe College in 1977 and her JD from Yale Law School in 1980. Following law school, Ms. Roin clerked for the Honorable Patricia M. Wald of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. She then practiced general tax law for three years with the Washington, D.C., law firm of Caplin & Drysdale. Ms.

Randal C. Picker

Paul H. and Theo Leffmann Professor of Commercial Law; Senior Fellow, the Computation Institute of the University of Chicago and Argonne National Laboratory

Randy Picker graduated from the College of the University in 1980 cum laude with a BA in economics and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He then spent two years in the Department of Economics, where he was a Friedman Fellow, completing his doctoral course work and exams. He received a master's degree in 1982.

Thomas J. Miles

Assistant Professor of Law

Thomas Miles received his BA in political science and economics summa cum laude from Tufts University. After college, he was a research assistant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, where he received the Bank President's Award for Outstanding Achievement.
