Graduation Information
Graduation for the Class of 2008 is June 13, 2008.

There will be a Continental Breakfast at Law School from 7:30am - 8:30am.

There are two ceremonies:

The University's Convocation Ceremony (during which your degree will be conferred by President Zimmer)

The Law School's Hooding Ceremony (during which you will be hooded by faculty members/alum relative)

A reception at the Law School will immediately follow.

University Convocation 9:30 am at Harper Quadrangle

Convocation is scheduled for June 13 at 9:30 am in Harper Quadrangle rain or shine.

The University ceremony includes the Law School, Harris School of Public Policy and Social Service Administration.

The ceremony runs approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.

This ceremony is controlled entirely by the University.

Approximately 6,500 chairs are placed in this large grassy area.

Television screens will allow guests at a distance from the stage to get a closer view of candidates receiving their diplomas.

Indoor Seating - Guests who prefer an indoor location may view a live broadcast in Mandel Hall, located in the Reynolds Club. Limited seating will be available on a first-come/ first-served basis.
Guests must have a ticket to be admitted to Mandel Hall.

Law School Hooding Ceremony 11:30 am at Rockefeller Chapel

The Hooding Ceremony is scheduled to begin one half hour after the University Ceremony ends (approximately 11:30am).

The Hooding Ceremony takes place in Rockefeller Chapel and lasts approximately one hour.

This ceremony is planned by the Law School and the Class of 2008 Student Graduation Committee.

Students select four faculty hooders.
