Law and Internet Forum

The Forum is a student organization that was founded in 1998 to educate students about evolving cutting-edge law and internet issues, and to provide an academic community for the discussion of these issues. Issues that the Forum will address this year include: privacy and other First Amendment concerns and the Internet; cybercrime; personal jurisdiction and cyberspace; venture capital financing for start-up Internet companies; Y2K troubleshooting; and antitrust in the Information Age.

The board members of the Forum bring speakers to the Law School from academic, legal and business communities throughout the year, and will host an E-commerce symposium in the spring. The Forum also serves as a means for its members to network with professionals in Internet Law.
