Food Law Society
The Food Law Society is a group of students who share a passion for both food and the law. By hosting faculty discussions and talks about legal issues that affect the way food is produced, marketed, and distributed to consumers, we hope to open students' minds to new ideas in the law and to the great culinary and agricultural community here in Chicago. Last year's events included hosting a discussion on GMO foods, working with the IJ Clinic on Entrepreneurship and their food truck advocacy project, and hearing faculty members talk about their own experiences with food and the law. If you love food (and maybe even the law), we hope to see you at some of our events this year!
