Binding Early Decision
What is Binding Early Decision? Binding early decision is a process where we agree to review your file early, but if you are admitted, we require that you commit to enrolling at the Law School and withdraw all applications at other law schools regardless of your status. You must indicate your intention to apply early decision on your application.
What are the Early Decision deadlines? We require that all application materials be received in our office by December 1, including the LSDAS report.
When will I receive my decision? We typically send out decisions by the end of December. Early Decision applications are either accepted, denied, or deferred for further review. If your application is deferred, it will be considered again in the Regular Decision cycle and admission will no longer be binding.
Do Early Decision Candidates receive financial aid? Students admitted in the Early Decision program will be considered for merit and need based financial aid along with the first round of Regular Decision admitted students, typically in late January.
Can I use a December LSAT in my Early Decision application? No.
