What are the median LSAT scores and GPA's of admitted applicants?
 For the entering class of 2006, the median LSAT is 171, GPA 3.66.

Do you have an LSAT/GPA cutoff?  No.  While we do have a very strong applicant pool numerically, the non-numerical factors in an application are just as important.  Thus, our admitted students have a very wide range of GPAs and LSATs.

What is the size of the entering class?  Approximately 190 JD students, and 50 international LLM  students.

Where is the Law School located?  The Law School is located in Hyde Park, a historic and affordable neighborhood on the South side of Chicago.  Hyde Park is easily accessible from the rest of Chicago by bus, train or car

How diverse is the class? In the entering class of 2006, 46% are women, and 33% are members of an ethnic minority.

Do you offer clinical programs?  Yes, the Mandel Legal Aid Clinic offers nine clinical programs. 

Does the Law School offer part-time or evening programs?  No.

What Joint Degrees do you offer?  We have established Joint Degree programs with the Business School (JD/MBA), the Public Policy School (JD/MPP) and the International Relations Department (JD/AM).  These degrees typically take four years of study, and can be applied for either prior to or during your first year of law school.  We also have JD/PhD sequences available with the History and Economics Departments. 

What extracurricular activities are offered at the Law School?  There are approximately 60 student organizations, ranging from the Law School Republicans, to Apathy, the women's dominating intramural sports team.
