Pro Bono Pledge
The University of Chicago School of Law's Pro Bono Service Initiative reflects the principle that members of the legal profession and those aspiring to enter the legal profession have an obligation to provide law-related services to individuals, groups or causes that are under-represented in the legal system. In recognition of this principle, I hereby pledge to complete, prior to graduation, a minimum of 50 hours of supervised volunteer legal work that helps to meet the legal needs of persons of limited means, to promote access to justice, or to serve the public good.
Take the Pro Bono Pledge and log your pro bono hours in Symplicity. The pledge can be found by clicking the pro bono tab under “My Account.”
