Organization's mission:
The clinic works in partnership with Katten Muchin, The Law Project, and Legal Assistance Foundation to provide free legal services to the Humboldt Park community on the Northwest Side of Chicago
Volunteers provide free legal advice and services in a variety of areas, including public benefits, expungement, housing issues, consumer law, family law, small business and wills
Project location:
Jose De Diego Community Academy, 1313 North Claremont, Chicago, IL
Estimated time necessary for completion of project:
Clinic hours are 4pm-7pm or 8pm on the third Wednesday of each month.
Number of students needed:
Two students per month. You must contact Anthony-Ray if you are interested because he will coordinate with the attorneys on site.
Qualifications needed for this project, if any:
Spanish speaking preferred but not required.
Application deadline:
You must confirm your appearance with Anthony-Ray at least seven days prior to the date of the clinic so he can coordinate with the attorneys on site.
